Before gluing these in place, roughen the surface of the fuselage to which the stabs
will attach to ensure maximum bond strength. Apply Hobbyking 30 minute epoxy to all
surfaces in contact and support using blocks or tape. Wipe away any excess glue and
allow to dry before proceeding.
Next, install control horns and the pushrods as below. Pre drill 2mm pilot holes through
the control surfaces as required. Attach a pushrod to the control horn before securing
the control horn to the elevator surface using 4 long M2 bolts and a plastic back plate.
You may now trim these pushrods to the correct length.
