SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical products, especially
when children are present, basic safety precau-
tions should always be followed, including the
following:
Read all instructions, safeguards, and war-
nings before using the appliance.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not place appliance where it can fall or
be pulled into water or other liquid.
3. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen
into water. Unplug immediately!
4. Place grill securely in center of counter or
work space.
5. Always unplug the grill before attempting to
move it.
6. Set the cooking wire grid in place before
turning on power.
7. Use two hands when moving the grill.
8. Do not allow the electrical parts of the grill
to get wet when cleaning.
9. The grill must not be placed near a wall
(whilst in operation). Always leave at least 10
cm (4 inches) between the grill and the wall.
10. Do not touch the wire grid during operation.
11. This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children.
12. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
13. The appliance is only intended for the
purpose described in user manual. Do not
use appliance or any part of the appliance
out of the intended use to avoid risk.
14. The use of attachments which are not
recommended or sold by the appliance
manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to
persons.
15. When the appliance is not in use and before
cleaning, unplug the appliance from the
outlet firstly.
16. To protect against the risk of electrical
shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug
in water or other liquid.
17. Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must
not be used with this appliance.
18. Appliance should be supplied through a
residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding
30 mA.
19. Appliance is to be connected to a socket-
outlet having an earthing contact.
20. The supply cord should be regularly
examined for signs of damage and the
appliance is not to be used if the cord is
damaged.
21. Do not operate where aerosol (spray)
products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
22. Do not move the appliance while it contains
hot food. Use extreme caution when
removing the hot wire grid or inner bowl.
23. Do not disassemble the product. There are
no user serviceable parts.
24. Do not leave the appliance unattended while
in use.
25. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the
handles provided.
26. Turn the unit “off” before removing the wire
grid.
27. Use extreme caution when disposing of hot
grease.
28. This appliance is not intended to be
operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
