To activate the VCR’s timer and make a recording
at the preselected time, be sure to press the
OPERATE button to turn the VCR off.
• The indicator “
” in the VCR display will light
on.
• If a cassette is not loaded in the VCR, the
indicator “
” starts flashing.

Soap Recording will not operate if:
• Programme listed in Tape data menu does not have the start-time.
• Blank of Remain section is selected.
• If the clock is not set.
• If the selected channel no longer exist or has been deleted.
Notes:
• When 12 programmes (maximum) are stored for the Soap Recording and you try to register another
Soap Recording, "
" indication will appear in the VCR's display and on the TV screen.
• If you have selected a channel that no longer exist or has been deleted, “
” will appear in the VCR's
display.
• The VCR will start recording from the current position of the tape.
