The VCR must be plugged into an AC outlet.

Turn VCR power off or press VCR/TV button on the remote control to select TV, so that "VCR"

disappears

from the display.

Turn on the TV and select the channel you want to watch.
For viewing only TV, the VCR may be turned on or off, once "VCR" has been removed from the
display.
