Guide indications in VCR display
The following indications appear in the VCR display to tell you the current status of your VCR.

Meaning and troubleshooting
• The VCR clock has been set to “– – : – –”.
Set the time and programme the timer.
• Twelve programmes have already been
stored.
Cancel unnecessary programme and store
the new programming.
• Non existing PlusCode programming
number is entered.
• Enter the correct programming number.
• A cassette has not been inserted or a
cassette without safety tab has been
inserted. A cassette without safety tab will
be ejected automatically. Insert a cassette
with safety tab intact.
• The VCR shows the timer programme
number which is occupied.
• A cassette has not been inserted. Insert a
cassette.
• A cassette without safety tab has been
inserted. It will be ejected automatically.
Insert a cassette with safety tab intact.
• The video heads are dirty. Cleaning them
is recommended. To switch off the CL
display, clean the head, turn the power off,
and press the PROG
button. The CL
display automatically switches off when
recording and playback are performed for
about 5 hours after it appears.
