Application note: Connecting prompter power 

 

Summary: 

The prompter power connector is located behind the fiber connector on the Camera Adaptor CA-HF1000. 
This is a 5 pin socket with Power interlock. 

 

       

 

 
How to connect: 

Parts: 5 pin plug  RM12BPE-5PH

Refer to Page 74 of the Operation manual for pin out details.

To switch 230V AC on, connect (direct link) Pin 5 to Pin 3.   
*Please ensure all local and national Electrical Safety regulations are complied with when connecting 
these power lines. 

 
Notes:

 

If an over

 

current fault is detected on the AC Power line, the Protective circuit in the CCU will 

shut down power to the Camera Adaptor and Camera head. 
Please avoid switching AC control line during live recording due to possible interference to the Video 
signal from the camera.
