“Energy Saving” mode is available for saving electricity further in a
proactive way.
When the “Energy Saving” mode is set to ON,
●
the temperature setting of each compartment is to be shifted to cooler.
●
If the Refrigerator Compartment door is opened for a long time (30 seconds or more), the brightness of LED light in the Refrigerator
Compartment will be turned down for energy saving.

Push the “Powerful”
button and turn on the
“Energy Saving” indicator
lamp to set it to “Energy Saving” mode.
The indicator lamps will be switched in sequence as shown below each time
pressing the button.
If you want to stop the “Energy Saving” mode, turn off “Energy Saving” indicator
lamp.
Press down “Freezer” button 3
seconds or more until the preset
sound is heard.
Lock of the Control Panel is changed to “On” or “Off” .

Shifting to “Freezer” / “Fridge” modes during
setting the “Energy Saving” mode, the “Energy
Saving” mode is released. Set it again.

While the temperature is set to “

temperature will not be shifted, resulting in no
energy saving effect.

When connecting/disconnecting the power
plug or after recovering from electric power
failure, lock of the panel for operation may
be released.
●
Automatic temperature control lowers
cooling loads, which may cause ice cream
to get soft and frost to form on frozen food.
It also requires longer freezing time and
ice making time.

Door Alarm
When the door is opened for more than 1 minute, sound and light occur indicating the door is open as shown in the
table below.
The Refrigerator Compartment, Ice Compartment and Lower Freezer have the Door Alarm function (but the Upper Freezer and Vegetable Compartment doesn’t).

From 30 seconds onwards with the door opened, the Door Alarm sounds only when the energy saving mode is set. (In this case the indicator lamp on
the Control Panel wouldn’t blink.)

When the indicator lamp on the display area blinks due to the Door Alarm function, the Control Panel will not be activated by touching it.
