HOW TO REMOVE/ATTACH PARTS
Caution
●
Before removing parts, remove any food inside.
●
Do not remove parts except the ones listed here.
Please contact a Hitachi customer service center if you wish to remove and clean such parts.
●
Do not remove the platinum catalysts in the Vegetable Compartment. Do not wash them with water.
Height adjustable upper and middle shelf

Request
To remove the shelves, remove the upper shelves first, then remove
the lower shelves.
To attach the shelves, attach the lower shelves first.
Lift the back of the shelf a
little and pull it toward you.

Raise the shelf as
shown in the drawing.

Rotate and
remove it.

The glass shelves are heavy. Be careful when removing/attaching them.
If a shelf falls, you may be injured or the shelf may break.

Lift up the whole shelf a little
and remove it.
Fixed shelf

First remove the lower height
adjustable shelf.
While holding the shelf partition,
lift the back of the shelf a little
and pull it toward you.

Hold the back and
rotate it toward you. Remove it while
pushing it inward.
Caution
Gently tap the left and right sides
at the bottom and lift to remove.
(The door pockets are fixed firmly)
Pull out the Extra Fresh Case, lift the front
lightly and pull it diagonally upward.
Caution
Caution
Hold the Extra Fresh Case
from the dotted line. Failure to
do so may cause your fingers
to be pinched in the door.
When removing the Extra Fresh Case, hold the entire case other than just the door or handle.
Failure to do so may result in damage to parts.
Slide the left and right protrusions of the
Extra Fresh Case under the guide rails of
the container.
