7. When you click

Yes

in the confirmation window for the settings of the drive restoration,

a restoration process for the drive starts. The progress is displayed in the

[Status]

box.

The following picture is a example that the number of recovery DVDs is two.

(Note) If you select

Only the system and boot partition

in the selection window for the

drive restore option, the boot partition is formatted before the restoration process.

Formatting the partition may take up to a couple of minutes. (The time required

for formatting depends on the size of the boot partition.) During the format

process, “Preparing Recovery.” is displayed in the

[Status]

box.
