This chapter provides the information you have to know before connecting and 
setting the LAN Card.   

Matters to Be Confirmed 

Confirm the following matters before use. If there should be a problem, contact your 
sales representative.   

 Is it the model or type you ordered?   

 Are there any parts damaged during shipping?   

 Are all the accessories of the Accessory List included in the package? 

 

If a separate sheet of additional information is included, be sure to read it.   

 

Overview of the Product 

This chapter provides the overview of this product.   

Features 

This adapter is used by being attached to the PCI-Express expansion slot (hereinafter 
referred to as PCI slot) of the system unit. This product has the following features.   

 It supports 1000BASE-T (IEEE802.3ab) and equipped with 2 ports for network 

interface connectors.   

 It is connected with the cable of Enhanced Category 5. 

 

 

 

 

 

PXE/iSCSI boot 
This Card doesn’t support PXE/iSCSIboot function. 
 
Wake On LAN 
This Card doesn’t support Wake On LAN function. 
 
PCI Hot-Plug 
This Card doesn’t support PCI Hot-Plug function.
