This is a safety symbol. It is used to raise caution about potential
hazards to humans. Observe the safety instructions following this
symbol to avoid possible injury or death.
This mark indicates that there are potential hazards that may cause
death or serious injuries.
This mark indicates that there are potential dangers that may cause
mild-to-moderate injuries.
This mark indicates that there is a risk of material damage not related
to personal injury.
Example 1: Electric shock hazard
This pictogram ( ) indicates a precaution. The figure inside the triangle
( ) indicates the type of hazard.
The example on the left indicates a shock hazard.
Example 2: Disassembly prohibited
If no figure is contained in, it means a general "don't". This pictogram ( )
indicates an action that you must not take. The pictogram ( ) is placed
over a figure that depicts the "must-not" item involved.The example on
the left indicates “Do not disassemble”.
Example 3: Pull out the power plug from outlet.
This pictogram ( ) indicates an action to take. The figure inside the
circle ( ) shows the action to take.The example on the left tells you to
"Unplug the power cord from the outlet".
