6. Reassembly of the main unit

(1) Mount the Lock Nut M4 (Black)

[44]

 and Packing

 [45]

 to the Housing (A).(B) Set

[41]

.

(2) Mount the power supply unit and drive unit that were reassembled in the procedure above to the

Housing (A).(B) Set

[41]

. At this time, align the protrusions of the Front Case

[10]

 and Motor Spacer

[35]

with the concave portions of the Housing (A).(B) Set

[41]

.

(3) Mount the Pushing Button

[48]

 into the Housing (A).(B) Set

[41]

. Confirm that the protrusion of the

forward/reverse changeover lever of the DC-Speed Control Switch

[50]

is inserted into the hole groove

of the Pushing Button

[48]

.

(4) Mount the Strap (Black)

[53]

 to the Housing (A).(B) Set

[41]

.

(5) Mount the assembly reassembled in step (3) above to housing (B), and then secure it with the eleven

Tapping Screws (W/Flange) D3 x 16 (Black)

[51]

.

(6) Mount Dial Holder (B)

[6]

 and Cover (A)

[4]

on the body from its front end, and then fasten both

together with the four Tapping Screws (W/Sp. Washer) D3 x 20 (Black)

[3]

.

(a) There is a wider concave portion among the four concave portions of the Nut

[7]

, and a wider

protrusion among the four protrusions on the inside of Dial Holder (B)

[6]

. When fitting the four

concave portions to the four protrusions, fit the wider concave portion to the wider protrusion.

(b) There is a wider concave portion among the four concave portions on the outer periphery of Dial

Holder (B)

[6]

, and a wider protrusion among the four protrusions on the inside of Cover (A)

[4]

.

When fitting the four concave portions to the four protrusions, fit the wider concave portion to the

wider protrusion.

(7) Upon completing steps (1) to (6) above, turn the dial from "1" to the hammer mark "

" and confirm

that each digit and the mark are respectively aligned to the triangle mark of Cover (A)

[4]

. Also confirm

that the dial turns with adequate restraint. If the dial does not turn from "1" or the hammer mark "

"

does not align with the triangle mark of Cover (A)

[4]

, Dial Holder (B)

[6]

 may be improperly

assembled. Repeat disassembly and reassembly correctly as described in "2. Reassembly of the

clutch unit," "3. Reassembly of the gear unit," and "5. (1) Reassembly of the drive unit."

Confirm that the Shift Knob

[49]

switches normally between "HIGH" and "LOW." If the Shift Knob

[49]

cannot switch the speed correctly or has no restraint, it may be assembled improperly. Repeat

disassembly and reassembly correctly as described in "3. Reassembly of the gear unit" and "5. (2)

Reassembly of the drive unit."
