Follow the steps on page 21 to enter the
Setup
menu, then
select the
Speaker
option as shown on the right.

Speaker
option

Off
to turn on or off the speakers of the TV.
Note: When the external stereo system is connected to the
FIXED/VARIABLE AUDIO output jacks of the TV, you
can set the
Speaker
option to
Off
to turn off the speakers of
the TV.

Follow the steps on page 21 to enter the
Setup
menu, then
select the
Audio Out
option as shown on the right.
Press the

cursor buttons to set the
Audio Out
option
Fixed
or
Variable
.
The setting of the
Audio Out
option can change the output
mode of the FIXED/VARIABLE AUDIO output terminals.
It provides you with two modes (
Fixed
or
Variable
) for
selection.
When
Audio Out
is set
Fixed
, the FIXED/VARIABLE
AUDIO output terminals output fixed audio signal.
When
Audio Out
is set
Variable
, the FIXED/VARIABLE AUDIO output terminals output variable audio signal.
You can control the volume by pressing
Volume up/down
buttons on the remote control unit of the TV set.
Note:
Please lower the volume of equipment to prevent damage to its speakers or hearing the distorted sound when
connecting the FIXED/VARIABLE AUDIO output terminals on the TV to the stereo system equipment.
