When the inside of the drum is hot due to 
drying operations and warm-air spinning, 
a cooling operation is used to cool the 
temperature down.

Wait until the inside of the drum cools down. You 
can open the door when 

HIGH

 turns off.

Is the CHILD LOCK set?

 

The CHILD LOCK will remain set and the 
door will remain locked even when the power 
automatically turns off after an operation 
finishes.

Release the CHILD LOCK.

Is there water inside the drum?

 

Depending on the water level during the 
operation, the door lock may not release.

Run a spin operation to drain the water.

Is air blowing?

 

Even if you pause the operation, the door will 
not open until the airflow stops.

Wait until the airflow stops.

Is “000” blinking in the remaining time 
indicator?

 

If so, Soft Guard operation is in progress.

Press the [PAUSE] button to unlock the door. For 
details on the Soft Guard setting, see 

(P. 69)

.

The [Door OPEN] 
button is difficult 
to press, and the 
door does not 
open easily.

 

Depending on the operating environment, the 
door bellows may stick to the door.

This is not a malfunction.
Press down on the [Door OPEN] button and pull 
the door open while holding the area of the door 
near the button (indented area).

The door does not 
close.

Is there an obstruction stuck between the door 
lock area?

Remove any objects.
Press the right middle area of the door, and close 
it completely.

 

Is the door stopper extended?

Return the door stopper to its original position.

Moisture and condensation from function tests 
performed at the factory may still remain in the 
drum and drain hose.

This is not a malfunction.

The color of the 
drum has changed.

 

Contact with water and detergent can oxidize 
and discolor the drum.

If this is a concern, wipe the drum using a 
stainless steel detergent.

The power does 
not turn on.

Is the power plug connected to a power outlet?

Connect the power plug to a power outlet.

The operation 
stops or the power 
turns off while in 
progress.

Did a power outage occur? Did a fuse blow or a 
short circuit occur?

Press the [ON] button, and restart the operation.

Is there an appliance that emits noise, such as 
a television or radio, near the machine?

 

If noise continuously enters the machine, the 
power will turn off.

Disconnect the power plug and reconnect it, 
and then press the [ON] button and restart the 
operation. Do not place televisions and radios 
near the machine.

 

If the temperature of the drum rotation 
motor reaches a certain level, the power is 
automatically turned off for safety.

This is not a malfunction.
Wait about 1 hour before restarting the operation.

 

If you start a drying operation while the dry 
filter is clogged, the power may turn off 
automatically.

This is not a malfunction.
Clean the dry filter.
