This table gives general instructions for entering letters, numbers, and symbols.
To...
Do this...
Enter a letter
Press the appropriate alphanumeric key repeatedly until the
letter you want appears on the display.
Enter a number
Press and hold the appropriate number key until it appears on
the display. If you are in Numbers mode, then press the
number key once.
Enter a symbol
Enter the Symbol mode and enter the number corresponding to
the symbol you want.
Enter a space
Press the
#
key.
Erase a character
Press
C

Erase all characters
Press and hold
C.
Move the cursor right or left
Use the
RIGHT
or
LEFT
navigation keys.
Change text entry modes

DOWN
to highlight the current input mode and press
