Assembly and start-up

The devices have been developed for practical application in a harsh 
industrial environment.

On delivery, the device is ready for operation. 

The following procedure has been proven to be successful for the assembly 
of the device:

Unpack and check

Install the media modules

Fill out and attach labels

Install the SFP modules

Adjust the DIP switch settings on the basic module (4-pin DIP switch)

Adjust the DIP switch settings on the MS20/MS30-...E... basic module 
(3-pin DIP switch)

Adjust the DIP switch settings on the MICE MM20-A8A89999SAHH 
media module

Connect the MM22-T1T1T1T1 PoE media module

Connect the terminal block for voltage supply and signal contact, connect 
the supply voltage

Install the terminal block, start-up procedure

Install the basic module on the hat-rail hub, grounding

Install the data lines

Define the meaning of the display LEDs

Install the MB-2T expansion module
