2.8 Installing SFP/XFP transceivers (optional)
Note: You will find further information under “SFP/XFP transceiver” on
page 29 .
Note: Only use Hirschmann SFP/XFP transceivers.
See “Accessories” on page 63.

Before attaching an SFP or XFP transceiver, first remove the protective
cap of the SFP/XFP transceiver.

Push the SFP/XFP transceiver with the lock closed into the socket until it
latches audibly in place.
2.9 Connecting the supply voltage,
starting up
Remarks:
 Observe the information about the voltages to be connected: “Technical
data” on page 55
 For the AC input of the AC/DC plug-in power units, use a nominal rating
of not more than 16 A - slow-blow characteristic.
