Using the RocketRAID 3742A BIOS menu: 

 

1.

 

Navigate to the '

Add/Remove Spare

' window  

 

2.

 

Press the up and down keys to select the disk to be added as '

Spare

'. 

 

3.

 

Press

 

'Enter' again to remove 'Spare'

 

Email Notifications

 

 

When enabled, all added recipients will receive an email notification for any event log 
entries.

You can instruct the controller to send an email out to the recipients of your choosing when 

certain events trigger (for more information, see Event Tab).
