SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARRENTY
• This appliance is designed for use indoors only. Do not
use outdoors e.g. in a garden or terrace etc.
• This appliance has been designed for use as a hairstyling
iron only and must only be used with product specifically
designed for use with a heated styler.
Note
This appliance has been designed for commercial use,
however it can be used in either commercial or domestic
environments. Care should be taken to ensure the user has
read and understand the safety instruction.
2. Preparing the appliance for use
1. Insert the plug into electrical outlet, ensuring that the
supply voltage matches the rated voltage stated on the
label.
2 Press the ON/OFF to turn the appliance on.
3. Select the the temperature setting for 120℃, 150℃,
170℃, 190℃, or 210℃, depending on the hairs quality.
4. Press the ON/OFF to turn it off after you finish the
treatment.
5. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply
6. Allow the appliance cool down completely before storing
Note
After 60 minutes the ROD Wand will go into sleep mode for
safety reasons. Restart the ROD Wand by using the ON/OFF
button. HH Simonsen® can’t be responsible for any kind of
burned or damaged hair caused by using the ROD iron.
3. Cleaning and care
To ensure the product remain in good working order, clean
the appliance regularly. This will remove the build up of
hair products or any other residue that can eventually coat
the heating plates.
Important:
Before cleaning, ensure the
appliance is unplugged.
4. Disposal
Equipment that has come to an end of its service life
should undergo correct disposal in accordance with the
law. Plastics and electronic parts should be submitted for
recycling. Enquiry at your municipal waste disposal site.
Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) contains materials,
components and substances that may be hazardous and
present a risk to human health and the environment when
waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is not
handled correctly.
Equipment marked with the below crossed-out wheeled
bin is electrical and electronic equipment. The crossed-out
wheeled bin symbol indicates that waste electrical and
electronic equipment should not be discarded together
with unseparated household waste, but must be collected
separately.
