Only a correct fastening BOTH CLAMPS guaranteed the intended support
of the seat and the securing of your child in the vehicle!
Only a proper fixing of BOTH TERMINALS ensures that the seat is secured
properly and offers full protection to your child in the car!!!
Please check once more, if the child car seat is securely fixed onto the
seat.
4.2. Child seat with backrest
Place your child in the HEYNER® MaxiFix PLUS child car seat. Let the shoulder strap of the
vehicle run through the belt guide slot. The shoulder
strap should run in the middle of the shoulder to
ensure an optimal belt path.
Now run the lap belt (W) with the lock tongue (V)
over the armrests of the child car seat towards the
three-point belt buckle and secure the lock tongue
(V) from the three-point belt of the vehicle into the
three-point belt buckle with an audible << CLICK >>.
All straps must fit tightly against the child and must not be twisted.
The lap belt must run as low as possible over the child‘s hips on both
sides. Adjust any belt height adjusters in the vehicle to the size of the
child. Please check the belt run at least every six months and adjust the
headrest of the backrest to the new size of the child. Make sure that you
insert the lap belt (O) on both sides under the retaining lugs (C), but the
diagonal belt (N) only on the side leading to the belt buckle (Q).
IMPORTANT:
The diagonal belt should be centred over the child‘s shoulder, the lap belt
should run as low as possible over the groin. Make sure that the diagonal
strap is straight and not too close to the child‘s neck. All straps must be
tight against the child‘s body and must not be twisted.
Insert the diagonal belt into the belt holder until it is fully seated in the belt
holder.
Make sure that the diagonal belt runs over your child‘s collarbone and does
not lie against the neck.
Tighten the vehicle belt by pulling the diagonal belt.
Before each journey, check that the seat belts are correctly seated and that
the child restraint system is correctly fastened.
Attention: Never fasten the lap seatbelt differently, otherwise the child will
not be held properly.
4.3. Releasing the ISOFIT
Press the release button and release it from the vehicle‘s anchorage point. With an audible
>>CLICK<<< unlocks the ISOFIT anchorage. You can now remove the child seat.
