Cause
Remedy
Water doesn’t flow!
Water supply is closed.
Open water supply.
Jet controller is blocked / dirty.
Clean or replace jet controller.
Filter is blocked / dirty.
Clean or replace filter.
No pressure in the water system.
Check water pressure, restore water pressure.
Plug-in cable connection between the power
supply unit and mains adapter is disconnected
(mains operated fittings).
Plug in cable to connect.
Connection cable is bent or broken (mains
operated fittings).
Replace defective parts.
No mains current available (mains operated
fittings).
Check mains power supply, secure power supply.
Solenoid valve is defective.
Replace solenoid valve.
Fitting is in cleaning mode.
Wait for the end of cleaning mode (approx.
1 minute factory setting or set the duration using
the BT adapter).
Electronic module is defective.
Contact Hewi customer service or replace
electronic module.
Mains adapter is defective (mains operated
fittings).
Contact Hewi customer service or replace mains
adapter.
Sensor detection distance is not set correctly.
Set detection distance correctly.
Sensor window is scratched / dirty.
Clean sensor window carefully, if necessary
replace control.
Disturbing reflections from the washbasin.
Set detection distance correctly (reduce range).
Water runs continuously and stops if an object appears in the detection range!
Connector between the electronic module and
solenoid valve is connected the wrong way round
(polarity reversal).
Connect plug-in connection correctly.
Set range of the sensor is too short.
Increase range.
