BAD CELL REPLACE
One or more cells of the battery are defec-
tive or have shorted. The battery must be
replaced.
5. Charge-retest

CHARGE-RETEST
The battery is unstable. Charge the battery
and test it again. The battery is classified as
defective if the result is unchanged after a
repeated test.
Press the OK button to end the battery test.
The following message appears after the OK
button has been pressed.

Press the OK button to continue with the
starting test or select the option "Cancel"
using the Up and Down buttons to cancel
the test at this point and print out a report
if required.

IMPORTANT
Negative test results while in an
installed state can also be caused
by poor connections between
the battery pole and battery pole
clamps and/or cables.
If in doubt, remove the battery
and test it while it is uninstalled
before making a final decision as
to whether you should replace the
battery or not.
