3. Transport instructions for
defective/used gas solder
burners
Defective gas solder burners must be
packaged as follows:
Empty any remaining gas
Use an undamaged, rigid box
Package the gas soldering iron so that it
is firmly secured in place in order to en­
sure that it cannot spontaneously ignite
Seal the box well
Affix an LQ diamond label (as per ADR)
and inscribe with “UN1057 FLAMMABLE
GAS”
4. Disposal
Ensure that the devices are disposed of
properly and as per specifications.
