FUNCTIONS
SEAR FUNCTION
Press the FUNCTION / MODE button, the red Indicator Light will illuminate on SEAR / SAISIR.
The default temperature of 450 °F and the default time of 15 minutes will appear in the
Display Window. The temperature and time will appearin the Display Window in 10-second
intervals.
To adjust the temperature, press the “+” or “-” buttons to select from these 3 settings:
400 °F, 425 °F and 450 °F.
To adjust the time, press on the TIMER / TEMPS button and then on the “+” or “-” buttons
to adjust cooking time from 10 minutes up to 20 minutes in increments of one minute.
For 10-minute increments, hold the “+” or “-” button for a few seconds.
BOIL FUNCTION
Press the FUNCTION / MODE button twice, the red Indicator Light will illuminate on
BOIL / BOUILLIR. The default time of 30 minutes will appear in the Display Window.
To adjust the time, press on the TIMER / TEMPS button and then on the “+” or “-” buttons
to adjust cooking time from 15 minutes to 45 minutes in increments of one minute.
For 10-minute increments, hold the “+” or “-” button for a few seconds.
KEEP WARM FUNCTION
Press the FUNCTION / MODE button 3 times, the red Indicator Light will illuminate on KEEP
WARM / RÉCHAUD. The default temperature of 140 °F and the default time of 30 minutes
will appear in the Display Window. The temperature and time will appear in in the Display
Window in 10-second intervals.
To adjust the temperature, press the “+” or “-” buttons to select between 140 °F and 175 °F.
To adjust the time, press on the TIMER / TEMPS button and then on the “+” or “-” buttons
to adjust cooking time from 0 minute up to 60 minutes in increments of one minute.
For 10-minute increments, hold the “+” or “-” button for a few seconds.
BROTH FONDUE FUNCTION
Press the FUNCTION / MODE button 4 times, the red Indicator Light will illuminate on
BROTH / BOUILLON. The default temperature of 195 °F and the default time of 60 minutes
will appear in the Display Window. The temperature and time will appear in in the Display
Window in 10-second intervals.
To adjust the temperature, press the “+” or “-” buttons to select from these 3 settings:
180 °F, 195 °F and 210 °F.
To adjust the time, press on the TIMER / TEMPS button and then on the “+” or “-” buttons
to adjust cooking time from 0 minute up to 120 minutes in increments of one minute. For
10-minute increments, hold the “+” or “-” button for a few seconds.
NOTE:
Only use this function when you are ready to eat the broth fondue. Use the Broth
Fondue function after you have boiled your broth to maintain the good temperature
for eating.
