Output Channels
Speaker outputs for connecting speaker
systems.

Connector for the ground cable (negative
terminal of the battery or metal body of the
vehicle).

REM
Connector for the remote cable.

+12 V
Connector for the +12 V power cable to the
positive terminal of the battery.

Line Output
Line outputs for connecting external
amplifiers. Make sure that the remote output
(
Rem Out
) is used to turn on these devices.

Rem Out
The remote output has to be used to turn on/
off external amplifiers that are connected to
the RCA / Cinch line outputs. Both connec-
tions are internally wired in parallel.

USB Input
Connects the HELIX V EIGHT DSP to your
PC.

Control Input
Multifunction interface for e.g. an optional
remote control or other HELIX accessory.

Status LED
This LED indicates the operating mode of the
DSP and which setup has been chosen.

Optical Input
Optical input for digital stereo signals (SPDIF
format).

Highlevel Input
Highlevel speaker inputs for connecting a
factory radio or an aftermarket radio without
pre-amp / line outputs.

Line Input
RCA inputs for connecting pre-amplifier
signals.

Clipping LED
This LED lights up red if one of the analog
inputs is overdriven.

Input Sensitivity
Control for adjusting the input sensitivity of
the low- and highlevel inputs.
