Installation instructions for B 8DSP / B 12DSP
The HELIX B 8DSP / B 12DSP subwoofer may
only be installed in motor vehicles which have a
12-volt minus pole connected to the chassis
ground. Any other system could cause damage
to the amplifier and the electrical system of the
vehicle.
Please do only use the provided HELIX cable
for the connection of the B 8DSP / B 12DSP.
The use of other or similar cables can result in
the damage of the subwoofer or other com-
ponents of your car audio system!
The fuse of the HELIX cable must only be
replaced by an identical fuse (20 A) in order to
avoid the damage of the internal amplifier.
Moreover, the use of fuses with higher
Ampere values can result in serious conse-
quential damages and losses.
Install the cabling in a manner which precludes
any danger of the leads being exposed to shear,
crushing or rupture forces. If there are sharp
edges in the vicinity (e.g. holes in the bodywork)
all cables must be cushioned and protected to
prevent fraying. Never lay the power supply
cables adjacent to leads and lines connecting
other vehicle equipment (fan motors, fire detecti-
on modules, gas lines etc.).
