1 .11 Fire places
The relevant applicable rules for the joint operation of fireplaces, ventilation, extraction hoods (information on
the Federal Association of Chimney Sweeps (ZIV)) must be observed!
General building law requirements
Supply and extract ventilation systems may only be operated with room air-dependent fire places if the flue gas evacua-
tion is monitored by special safety devices (on site) and it is ensured that the supply and extract air flow is interrupted
in the event of tripping.
It is recommended to speak with the responsible chimney sweep to take into consideration any requests before procu-
ring an underpressure monitoring system for fire places.
Monitoring systems are always integrated in the unit supply line (see wiring diagram)!
Danger to life due to electric shock.
An electric shock can result in death or severe injuries.
Before work on the unit, disconnect the unit from the mains power supply!
The use of an external contact as a shutdown method for underpressure monitoring is not permissible!
