3.1. General
To avoid damage to the tube, make sure you are going to install the right wall

3.2. How to choose the tubing material
For more information about tubes, their properties and chemical stability make reference to
chapter C.
3.3. SP quick (fig. 25)
-
The SP quick features snap-on mechanism to speed up
installation of tubes.
-
Fold lever (18) to the left to open tube bed.
-
Rotate two clampscrews (19) CCW till stop.
-
Seat tube (17) in sickle-shaped cut-out in pump head.
-
Fold lever (18) to the right to close tube bed.
-
Do a short trial run to check proper clamping of tube.
-
Make shure that tube does not migrate during rotation.
-
If necessary clamping can be increased by turning clampscrews (19) clockwise when hose
bed is open. Close tube bed and check adjustment with trial run.
-
Repeat above setting and testing work as required.
Carefully losen item; remember that clamping power has not been adjusted before and
excessive clamping power may squeeze-off the tube.
Check for tube clamps properly seated. Tube (17) should not creep while pumping;
check tube clamping in a brief test run.
