Connect PC
Use the RS232 interface and a suitable program (e.g. Microsoft© Hyperterminal), or a
suitably programmed interface to enter and read out the parameters like temperature
and speed.
Required connectors at interface cable:
▪ Device interface: SUB-HDD 15 connector.
▪ PC interface: SUB-D 9 connector.
(Also see chapter “Accessories and spare parts”.)
Caution:
Possible malfunction
A faulty connection can lead to
malfunction of the interface.
Only connect those lines in
accordance with drawing
opposite.

Connection at device
➜ Switch off the device.
➜ Remove protective cap and keep for
future use.
➜ Connect SUB-HDD 15 to socket at
rear of device.
➜ Connect SUB-D 9 to com interface at
PC.
✓ When interface is active, “*REMOTE*”
starts flashing in display.
