8 Maintenance
Hands and tools must be free from oil and grease during maintenace
8.1 Changing gasket ring
At a high level of abrasion perform the following instructions:
- Lever the gasket ring with the aid of a slotted screwdriver and take it off.
- Pull the fresh gasket ring without any aid of tools on its place.
8.2 Changing filter screw
At a high level of soiling, but at least every 2
nd
year perform the following instructions:
- Release the filter screw with the aid of a 6 mm allen wrench.
- Hold the pressure reducer so that the inlet connection (9) is facing to the ground.
This way it is prevented that dirt enters the inside.
- Turn out manually the filter screw.
- Turn in manually the fresh filter screw.
- Tighten the filter screw with the aid of a 6 mm allen wrench.
9 Storage
The pressure reducer must be stored dry and dust-free. The surrounding air must be non
condensing.
It is recommended to keep the wrapping, so the item can be storage in it when required.
