Appliance Setup
B. Log Assembly
(See Service Parts, Complete Log Set for log numbers)
• Place left front Log (#9) on the far left grate bar so the
notch on the log sets on the horizontal portion of the grate
bar and the body of the log is on the grate burner. See
Figure 10.1.

• Place left top log (#5) on the white notches of left center
log and back log. Set log so the “Y” is pointed down. See
Figure 10.2
• Place right center log (#4) on the white notches in left
center log and back log. Log should set on log tab welded
to back of far right grate bar. Long leg of “Y” in log should
point towards front center of log set. See Figure 10.3.
A. Install the Refractory
Follow the installation instructions supplied with the refrac-
tory kit.
C. Place the Silica Rock (Techno Sil)
• Paint the silica rocks with spray paint (supplied). See
Figures 10.4 and 10.5.
• Place the silica rock so it completely covers the ember
bed. See Figure 10.6.

D. Place the Lava Rock
• Place the lava rock around the ember bed and up to front
lip of hearth pan. See Figure 10.7.
