B. Securing Stove Pipe/Liner to Flue Collar
1. There are 4 pre-drilled holes in the fl ue collar 90 degrees
apart. Attach the fl ue collar to the stove pipe/liner. If the
seal is questionable use stove mastic

2. Attach gasket to bottom side of fl ue collar with a thin coat
of silicone.

C. Optional Offset Adapter Installation
In some installations the fl ue collar and stove pipe/liner do
not always align properly. This situation may be remedied
by using the optional offset adapter. See Appliance Dimen-
sions page for the amount of distance this accessory can
telescope between the fl ue collar and stove pipe/liner.
1. Remove the cast iron fl ue collar from the appliance and
fl ip it upside down. Using the larger #7 drill bit supplied,
drill through all 8 countersunk locations.

2. Slide the gasket over the the fl ue collar and attach it to the
offset adapter using the 8-32 fl athead screws provided.

3. Adjust the offset adapter to desired distance. Drill holes
through the lower chamber as shown in
Figure 40.4
using
the small drill bit #26 provided.
4. Cut the gasket to the proper length and slide in between
the upper and lower chambers centered on the screw
holes. Attach the upper and lower chambers with screws
provided.

5. Repeat the process on the bottom side.

Once distance is established, drill holes
and secure both chambers together.
