These fireplaces can use an optional Fan.
Use  of  the  fan  requires  that  the  Junction  Cord  (factory 

installed) be connected to 230 VAC service before per-

manently  enclosing  the  fireplace.  The  access  hole  for 

connecting the service wires is found on the right exterior 

side of the unit. See Figure 12.3 for wire connection de-

tail.

Note: 

if any of the original wire as 

supplied with the appliance must be 

replaced, it must be replaced with 

type 105º C rated wire. Wires must 

have high temperature insulations.
