and the condensation will evaporate within the first
few minutes of operation. If you notice continuous
condensation on the window glass or dripping water
from any part of the unit or venting system
(chimney), immediately discontinue operation of the
unit and contact qualified service personnel.
To Turn off Gas and Shut Down the
Appliance:
1. Close the shut-off in the gas supply to
the valve.
2. Turn the ON/REMOTE/OFF switch to
the “OFF” position.
Service Access Panel:
The DVI 44 has a service access panel on the right
side of the outer steel box. This panel can be
removed to help access some of the gas and
electrical components and connections.
This
access panel must be in place when the unit is
running.
Locate the panel and the six screws
mounting it in place as shown in the figure below.
Remove the 2 front screws and set them aside. You
will need these to reassemble the panel when you
are finished. Loosen but do not remove the other 4
screws. The panel should now be loose enough to
slide forward slightly and away from the unit. To
reinstall the panel, slide the panel back in place and
use the same screws to mount it.
