The grate is located in the lower cav-
ity. Remove the screw holding the
grate in place and discard the screw.
6.
Position the grate into the cutout in
the refractory. Hook the grate into po-
sition using the tabs on the bottom
of the grate. Make sure the grate is
pulled forward on the refractory (see
Figure 42).
7.
Cut shrink wrap and remove from
around the log assembly.

PACKAGING FROM LOGS.

Install embers. See ember placement
instructions for details.

9.
Carefully position the log set in place
into the fireplace. Pull the log set for-
ward until the log set contacts the log
placement tabs. Center the log set in
the firebox side to side (see Figure
43). (Grate removed for viewing.)
