Mounting
•
Place the mounting bracket on the desired location and mark
where the holes should be drilled.
•
Drill two holes with a diameter of 5 millimeters.
•
Push the plastic plugs to the holes.
•
Insert the screws into the mounting
plate and tigh
ten them firmly into the
plugs.
•
Place the smoke alarm on the
mounting
bracket and secure it by
turning it clockwise.
•
Alternatively install smoke alarm
using magnet plate provided. Use
double sided tape to install it on the
ceiling.
•
Test the correct operation of y our
smoke alarm by pressing the test
on. If sound is not generated, the
smoke alarm does not operate
correctly and
should be replaced!
Low battery indicator
•
When the battery is running low, EchoAlert® Smoke Alarm will
indicate this with repetitive beep sound and flash for
approximately 30 days. For more information, please go to
EchoAlert® Smoke Alarm manual provided separately.

Additionally, the EchoAlert® Vibrating Pager indicator

flashes
red once every 5 sec. to indicate EchoAlert® Smoke Alarm batteries
are low, and unit needs to be replaced as soon as possible.
Ceiling
