Intended Use

Compact, handheld, battery operated unit that tests the integrity (e.g., pinholes, cracks, or 
defects) of the insulation of electrosurgical instruments to prevent tissue burns of 
laparoscopic and bipolar electrosurgical instruments.

Range of Applications for Product

Used to test the integrity of the insulation of electrosurgical instruments (ESI) and 
cable/cords for laparoscopic, endoscopic, intraoperative instruments, monopolar and 
bipolar surgical items.
