User Instruction

NEVER USE WITHOUT BEING CORRECTLY ATTACHED

Ensure the connector is attached to the belay loop of the harness or other
approved anchor point and the latch is fully closed and the gate engaged
before using. A gate check must be performed after every connection.

Failure to do so can result in serious injury or death.

WARNING

Climbing is considered a strenuous activity. If you have any physical or
medical conditions that may affect your climbing ability consult a medical
professional prior to participation.

POTENTIAL FOR PARTICIPANT ENTANGLEMENT

Potential for participant entanglement exists during descent. Ensure all loose
items that may become tangled are tightened or removed before using the
Auto Belay. A risk assessment should be completed at the installation site to
determine the necessary PPE for users, such as type and brand of harness,
use of helmets, etc.

Prior to clipping in, all users must be instructed in the safe use of the Auto Belay.
Operators are to ensure all users are familiar with the site rescue plan in the event
the user becomes distressed.
