Configuration and parameterization

S

Start your configuration program (e.g. Step7).

S

Load the HBM GSD file (MGCplus CD).

S

Add an HBM device (Profibus‐DP/additional field devices/general).

S

Simulate the layout of your device, with the device itself (MGCplus

)

being

given as in slot 0. All the device modules must be mapped (counting from
left to right), even if they do not send data (”empty slot”).
