4.2.4

Threshold

The threshold value corresponds to the considered power level for the FBG peak compu­
tation and can be used to disregard side lobes and ground noise. It is a value from 200 to
3200 definable for each optical channel individually. It is measured bottom-up from the 0
(zero) power value.
