Ensure that the spring is aligned centrally to the universal clamping disc and that the
grippers are evenly arranged!

Slightly tighten the screws

, e. g.
with the HAZET ratcheting combination
wrench 606-13, in order to prevent unin-
tentional shifting during operation.
When the strut has been secured with the grippers

, swivel the brakes

into the last spring coil
(guide bolt

in outer slot). If possible, both brakes should be opposite to one another. Position
the rubberised surface of the brakes over the still bearing on end of the spring wire and slightly
tighten the screws

e.g. with the HAZET ratcheting combination wrench 606-13. Lower the rub-
berised brakes onto the spring wire by slightly tightening the spindles

(3.5 Nm), e. g. with the
HAZET ratcheting combination wrench 606-13 to secure the spring against twisting in relation to
the universal clamping disc.
