DIVA T/A ISDN Modem User’s Guide 102
Call Transfer (implicit)
Call Transfer allows you to disconnect from a Three-Way Conference
call and leave the other two people connected. It works as follows:
Establish a Three-Way call as described in the section above. Hang
up. The other two people remain connected.
Feature Key Values
To access Calling Features, the DIVA T/A supplies the ISDN switch
with certain codes called Feature Keys. Not all ISDN providers use
the same Feature Keys (unless you are using an EZ-ISDN or IOC
line). Ask your ISDN service provider for a list of Feature Key values
that your DIVA T/A should use.
Note: Some ISDN providers allow you to specify which Feature Key
values you want to use. If this is the case, you can supply the DIVA
T/A default values, and no further configuration is necessary. If your
ISDN provider supports user supplied Feature Key values, supply
them with the values in the following table.
The default values for the DIVA T/A are as follows:
Feature Key
Value
3-Way Conference
60
Call Drop
62
Message Waiting Indicator
63
If the Feature Key values supplied by your ISDN provider do not
match, you must configure your DIVA T/A to use the proper values.
The Feature Key values can only be changed via AT commands.
To change the Feature Key values:
1
Start the terminal-emulation program (for example, Telix,
HyperTerminal, or HyperAccess).
2
Configure the terminal-emulation program to use the same COM
port that the DIVA T/A is connected to.
3
Confirm you are connected to the DIVA T/A by typing AT and
pressing Enter. The DIVA T/A should respond with “OK”.
