You can see the storage icon in the system tray. 
 

 

 

Then  just  use  the  new  disk  as  a  general  disk.  After  you  finish  the  disk 
operations, click the storage icon in the system tray and choose “Eject USB 

Mass Storage Device” to remove the USB storage, as the following figure. 
 

 

 

Then, in the HMPS1u software, click the USB storage device and click the 
“Disconnect” button to disconnect the USB storage device.

Request to Connect 

 

If a USB device is manually connected by another user on the network, you 
cannot use the device until they disconnect. We offer a mechanism to notify 

the other user.    It is called “Request to Connect”. The user on one computer 
can  click  the  “Request  to  Connect”  button  in  the  HMPS1u  software.  The 

following window appears.
