The Wireless Fence forms a circular shape can expand from a 40 foot radius up 
to a 400 foot radius (800 foot diameter) --- giving it the largest containment 
area of any do-it-yourself wireless fence system

The Controller signal extends up to 400 feet in all directions. A slope can cause  
the Roaming Area to appear larger or smaller than expected depending on 
the steepness and shape of the sloped area in relation to the position of the 
Controller.  Repositioning the Controller may help optimize your Roaming Area. 
Once set, the Roaming Area will remain consistent.
 

No. The Wireless Fence is only effective on dogs that wear the Havahart

No.  The Controller should be plugged into a 120V AC power outlet.  Make  
sure there is one nearby when you plan the placement of the Controller in your 
house.

Yes. Follow the setup procedures wherever you want to contain your dog. It  
is necessary to setup the new Roaming Area and mark it with Training Flags 
so your dog can learn his new Trigger Zone. You may want to conduct some 
additional training for your dog to be comfortable with his new Roaming 
Area. Note: The size of the Roaming Area may be reduced if you are setting 
up in a vehicle or metal building. Remember to remove the battery from the 
Havahart

®

 Collar before turning off the Controller. If you use a DC power 

source from a car or elsewhere, make sure to use an inverter rated for  
50 watts or more.
