18. Look after your tool with care. Keep the cutting tool sharp and clean so
that you are able to work better and safer with it. Observe the guidelines
on lubrication and exchanging the tool. Check the power cable of the
electric power tool regularly and in case of damage let a recognized
specialist repair it. Check extension cables regularly and replace them if
they are damaged. Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil and grease.
19. Pull the plug out of the power socket. When the electric power tool is not
in use, before maintenance and when exchanging tools such as saw
blades, drills and mills.
20. Do not leave keys in the saw. Before you switch off the saw, check that
keys and setting tools have been removed.
21. Avoid starting-up the saw accidentally. Make sure that when you insert
the plug into the power socket the power switch is turned off.
22. Use an extension cord of the correct gauge and voltage. Please consult
chart on page 34 for correct extension cord to be used.
23. Be attentive. Be careful what you do. Carry out your work sensibly.
24. Check the electric power tool for any sign of damage. Before continuing
work with the electric power tool, safety devices or easily damaged parts
have to be carefully checked to ensure that they function properly and are
not defective. Check that the moving parts are working properly and are
not jammed, or whether the parts are damaged. All parts must be correctly
assembled and meet all the conditions in order to guarantee that the
electric power tool functions correctly. Damaged switches have to be
replaced by a qualified electrician. Do not use electric power tools if the
power switch cannot be turned on and off.
25. Warning! The use of non-approved tools and accessories present a danger
of injury to you.
26. Let a qualified electrician repair your electric power tool. This electric power
tool corresponds to the applicable safety conditions. Repairs should only
be carried out by a qualified electrician, using original replacement parts;
otherwise accidents may occur.

27. Wear eye protection.
28. Keep hands out of path of saw blade. Avoid contact with any coasting
blade. It can still cause severe injury.
29. Do not operate saw without guards in place. Check blade guard for proper
closing before each use. Do not operate saw if blade guard does not move
freely and close instantly. Never clamp or tie the blade guard in the open
position.
30. Do not perform any operation freehand. The workpiece must be secured
firmly against the rotary table and guide fence with the vise during all
operations. Never use your hand to secure the workpiece.
31. Never reach around the saw blade.
32. Turn off tool and wait for saw blade to stop before moving workpiece or
changing settings.
33. Unplug tool before changing blade or servicing.
34. Always secure all moving parts before carrying the tool.
35. Stopper pin which locks the cutter head down is for carrying and storage
purposes only and not for any cutting operations.
36. Do not use the tool in the presence of flammable liquids or gases.
37. Check the blade carefully for cracks or damage before operation. Replace
cracked or damaged blades immediately.
38. Use only the type of clamp recommended for this tool.
