7.3.2. Parental
You will also find the Parental menu in the Channel Edit screen. You can change the
PIN and security level, and lock/unlock services in this menu.
Simply press the
[RED]
key to toggle the lock status of a channel or toggle all by
pressing the
[GREEN]
button. Change the PIN by pressing the
[YELLOW]
button,
and enter the new pin number. This PIN will need to be re-entered to confirm
changes.
There are three security settings
off
,
Level 1
and
Level 2
:
Level 1
denies access to the menu system and locked channels unless the PIN is
entered.
Level 2
prevents unauthorized access to the box when the box has been turned off
and then on again.
To select the security level, choose the channels you wish to lock and press the
[BLUE]
which corresponds to the ‘Security’ option. Keep pressing the button until
you see the level of security you wish to set.
To unlock or disable security settings, press the
[RED]
to unlock one service or
select all by pressing the
[GREEN]
button.
