2. Preparation for the match
a) The sliding devices including fine adjustment are already provided at the uprights. Only
the uprights have to be erected and the net to be fixed.
In order to avoid slipping of the sliding devices during storage or in
case of handling errors we provided height and depth limitations in
the grooves of the uprights (screws with washers) above and below
the sliding devices (see right picture).
Installation of uprights:
If the unit is inserted in existing ground sockets it has to be guaranteed that they
are suitable for the uprights. Otherwise safety certificates are no longer valid and
warranty claims expire!
Instructions to concrete aluminium ground sockets see point 6.
Take care during insertion of uprights into the ground sockets that fixing screws of sliding
devices are slightly tightened so that they do not slip.
Use the cranks to tighten und unscrew fixing screws of sliding devices.
Note: Tighten fixing screws only slightly to avoid damages.
Height adjustment of the sliding devices is done
at the welded spigots (description for use see
point 3c “adjustment of net height“).
The adjustment elements provided at the bottom of sliding devices are necessary for the
fine adjustment. Description for use see point 3e “fixing of tensioning cords”.
If the unit is equipped with insertion elements for existing ground sockets the
uprights have only to be inserted into the ground sockets.
b) Fixing of height scale: After the insertion fix height scales at both sides of the uprights.
Measure exact height from the floor.
Stick crank on the spigot to adjust
height of sliding device.
Fixing screw: stick crank only to fix
and unscrew sliding device. Before
insertion of uprights into ground
sockets tighten fixing screw slightly.
