The printer doesn't detect a connected Feeder 

Condition Problem  Solution 

The printer does not 
establish a connection and 
does not control the 
connected Feeder 
(start/stop/speed). 

A connection between the 
printer and the Feeder 
couldn’t be established. 

Make sure to first switch on 
the Feeder and second to 
switch on the printer. 

Check the correct connection 
between the printer and the 
feeder. 

Check whether the 
emergency stop was 
activated or the emergency 
stop connection is broken. 
Make use of the strapping 
plugs to cut the Feeder from 
the emergency stop 
connection of the printer 
(see4.5.2, on page 31). 

Try to use the Feeder in 
offline mode (control 
start/stop/speed manually).
