Straighten and remove the spit pin in the top shaft pin and remove the top shaft pin, remove the top hook.

Mount suspender “C” (large) in place of the top hook, insert the top shaft pin and re-insert the split pin.

Replace the wheel cover.

Attach Hoist to Trolley.

For 8 and 10 Ton capacities, Harrington’s Model CB Series chain hoists is hook mounted directly to the
suspension shaft of the TF/TS Trolley as shown in
Figure 3-5
. Since the hoist is directly hook mounted, no
additional hoist preparation is necessary. See
Section 3.4
for more information on trolley assembly.

For 15 and 20 Ton capacities, Harrington’s Model CB Series chain hoist is hook mounted to a suspension shaft
which is connected to a pair of side plates. The side plates are mounted to the TF/TS trolley using two
additional suspension shafts as shown in
Figure 3-6
. Since the hoist is directly hook mounted, no additional
hoist preparation is necessary. See
Section 3.4
for more information on trolley assembly.
