MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance ensures the product will continue to function correctly and safely and last longer.
• Regularly check that the fixtures are securely attached. Tighten them if they are loose.
• Check the gearbox every six months. If the gearbox is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced before
the product is used again.
• Check and, if necessary tighten, all screw connections every six months.
• Do not use the product if it is damaged or if the connections are loose.
The moving parts of the product do not normally need to be oiled. If it is stiff when extending the product,
or if any unusual noises can be heard, the moving parts can be oiled with a lubricant which does not
damage plastic material.
Do not use petroleum-based lubricant.
Attach a tube to the nozzle and spray generously with lubricant between the end of the roller and the pivot
at the end. Be careful not to spray the canvas.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the frame with a cloth moistened with water and mild cleaning agent. Do not use strong or
abrasive cleaning agents.
Clean the fabric every six months with lukewarm water and mild cleaning agent. Let the fabric dry
completely. Never attempt to dry the fabric with a hairdryer, fan heater or similar.
Dismantling
NOTE:
Follow all instructions and safety instructions when dismantling. Dismantling must be carried out by
at least 2 adults.
• Retract the product completely before dismantling. Fasten the arms in the retracted position to avoid
them falling out - risk of personal injury and/or damage to property. You can use the accompanying
band.
• Dismantle the product by following the assembly instructions in reverse order.
• The drill holes in the wall must be sealed in accordance with professional construction practices.
Storage
• We recommend that the product should be removed and stored in a dry, protected place if it is not
going to be used for a long time.
• Check that the fabric is completely dry before storing the product. Otherwise the fabric risks being
damaged.
• Store the product somewhere dry and out of reach of children.
